Finally!  Some time off to relax and enjoy the gorgeous scenery here on California’s incredible Central Coast!  Started off with a 2 mile walk along the Bob Jones Trail, starting near the store at Avila Bay Estates and ending at the beach.

Arriving at Avila Beach, we realized that the fog hadn’t bothered any of the hundreds of beachgoers, either!!  Everyone was having a blast!

 After dinner at the Custom House, why not dessert at Doc Burnstein’s in Arroyo Grande?  Why not a hot fudge sundae?? (I ate it before I could even think of a photograph!)

Finish off an already full afternoon with a cruise by peaceful Lake Lopez before heading back down the 101 to  Santa Maria….

Ahhhh….now this is the way a day off is meant to be spent!!!
